Will Your Garden Flourish in the New Year? Chances are if you start planning now, you and your garden will flourish this year. It was a hard year for our lawn and gardens last year. Most people don’t think about what to do to their lawn and garden this time of year. We are mainly concerned with keeping plants from freezing in the winter. January is a time you can re-mineralize the soil. Everyone in most of Texas is spending the winter with seriously stressed trees and lawns. Trees that were extremely stressed by the drought are very susceptible to any freezes we have this winter. They are at risk of falling on your house if close enough. Both the lawns and trees deficient in minerals will also be susceptible to disease this spring.
Wallace Tharp, the founder of our company, Perma-Guard, Inc. is 89 years young and holds a Healthy Food Advocate meeting every month in Albuquerque. We in the company believe deeply that your health will always reflect what you eat. We preach Organic, natural methods for the gardens that produce our food and herbs. We know that minerals are a critical element to all our body’s healthy functions. We encourage you to grow your own foods as much as you possibly can. Our day to day world often pulls us so far away from nature. Peace of mind can be found in working in your own garden and eating the fruits of your labors. Knowing what you put into the soil to make those fruits, vegetables and Herbs assures you of the potency you will gain from eating them.
What can your do in January? Re-mineralize the soil of your lawn and plan your garden. An application of Perma-Guard’s Fossil Shell Flower (89+% silica) and soft rock phosphate, lava sand, green sand, basalt, humate, and montmorillonite found in Rabbit Hill Farm’s Minerals Plus would give a great boost to any lawn, garden or tree. By mineralizing now you assist your lawn, garden and trees in resisting disease in the spring. Diseased or weak plants attract insect infestation. Plan now. Research what vegetables or herbs you want to grow need to begin a strong growing season. Grow vegetables with vibrant color. They are the most potent with minerals and vitamins our bodies can assimilate. Make a New Year’s resolution to improve your life with better health and peace that comes from working in conjunction with the earth to provide you with potent foods and herbs. Our lives get too busy. Give yourself the gift of taking the time for you. By making your home environment harmful chemical free can change your world. The better you feel the more prosperous you can become.
We at Perma-Guard, (Wally Tharp, Merv Haney, Elyse Barkin, Andy Kanesta, and I, Patricia Byrne) are dedicated to improving the conditions of our environment and health of people and their animals. We wish you all a healthy and prosperous New Year. Our hearts are with you and the earth we know supports us all.
